       Mighty Mites FAQs: 

       H   How old are Children that sign up for the Program?      Children are to be Age 3-4 as of December 31, 2010

    When does the program start and finish?   The program starts in October and ends in February

    How many ice times and when are they ?  Ice times are once a week typically on Saturday or Sunday and times vary but usually are scheduled between 08:00 – 10:00 am. All ice times are one hour.

     W    What does the program consist of?      This is a learn to skate program in a hockey environment, you child will learn through playing games ( not scrimmaging) on the ice. As well children are usually grouped by their skating ability

    How many instructors are there?The program as capped at 30 kids and we strive to have 6 instructors on the ice so that there is a 5:1 coaching ratio. We typically select one parent volunteer to act as the program head coach with other assisting this individual. Why try and select this position based on previous experience with the program 

      T    And the most important aspect?    The most important part of this program is to ensure that the children have FUN and are not pushed into this program as the intent is to make them love hockey not hate it.

Initiation: Skills development and a lot of fun in house league for 5 and 6 year olds.     Birth years 2004 and 2005
