HEY ALL SOUTHLAND PLAYERS;  It's almost time again  for Annual  3 on 3 Tournament !!

   NO CO-ORDINATORS == NO EVENT.   PLEASE VOLUNTEER IF YOU CAN ASSIST IN ANY WAY!!

48 skaters and 6 goalies only for Novice, Atom, Pee Wee 

 Tournament Dates

Novice March 13-14   ($55.00)

Atom March 20-22   ($75.00)

PW March 16-18    ($75.00)

Bantam March 17-18   ($75.00)    32 skaters and 4 goalies only for Bantam.  (Note : there will be no draft dinner for Bantam this year & no late registrants will be accepted.)

 3 on 3 committee is looking for sponsorship dollars to assist with things like jerseys & refreshments for players.  If your company would like to sponsor part of the event please send an email to: 3on3@southlandhockey.com

Southland’s Casino is coming up & we need volunteers! This is a major source of cash for our association.

This year’s casino is on June 1^st & 2^nd at Stampede Casino.

Shifts available are:

11:00 am to 7:00 pm

6:15 pm to 3:00 am

10:00 pm to 3:00 am

There are 36 positions to be filled on a first come – first served basis.

These 36 volunteers will get $125 credit towards their child’s registration fees for the 2011/2012 season.

Mission Statement    

 

The mission of the Southland Hockey Association is to make hockey a fun and rewarding

experience for all participants through a program that provides an organized and disciplined

approach to developing hockey skills.    

    

Objectives of the Hockey program    

• encourage, promote, coordinate, improve and provide the means to enhance the experience of all those who wish to play, coach or otherwise become involved in the sport of hockey within the boundaries of the Southland Hockey Association.
• improve participants’ basic hockey and coaching skills, to encourage players and other participants to make new friends, to encourage good sportsmanship, to create a spirit of fair competition and to conduct activities in a safe environment.
